Terms of Service

For your safety & assurance

Welcome to STFU! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the STFU mobile application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Breezer Ltd, which trades as STFU ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using STFU, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refunds Policy (collectively, the "Agreement").

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree, you should not access or use the Service.

1. About STFU

1.1 Purpose
STFU is a digital service that uses aversion psychology to help reduce "food noise" and unwanted food cravings. STFU is not a substitute for professional advice or medical care.

1.2 Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age for your platform to use STFU: at least 16 years old on iOS, and at least 13 years old on Android. Use of the Service by anyone below the applicable minimum age is strictly prohibited.

1.3 Medical Disclaimer
STFU is not a licensed healthcare provider. The Service is intended for general wellbeing only and is not designed to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition, including any eating disorder. The Service is not suitable for, and must not be used by, anyone who has or is at risk of an eating disorder. When you first open the app you must confirm that you do not have an eating disorder; you may not use the Service if you cannot truthfully give that confirmation. Any content provided through the Service, including from other users, is for informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as medical advice. If you have any concerns about your eating, weight, or mental health, please consult a qualified professional.

1.4 Nature of the Content
To reduce food cravings, the Service uses aversion techniques and may present content that is deliberately unpleasant or off-putting. This is intentional and central to how the Service works. By using STFU, you acknowledge and accept the nature of this content.

2. Account Responsibilities

2.1 Registration
To access STFU, you must create an account. You agree to provide truthful and complete information during registration and to keep your account secure.

2.2 Security
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your login credentials. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

2.3 Linked Accounts
You may link STFU with third-party platforms. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with their terms.

2.4 License Grant
Subject to these Terms and any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use STFU during your subscription term.

3. Subscription and Billing

3.1 Subscription Periods and Pricing
STFU may offer various plans, each with different billing cycle lengths and pricing, as disclosed at the time of purchase.

3.2 Recurring Billing
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle, unless cancelled. Charges are billed to the payment method you entered at the time of purchase.

3.3 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel any time before your next billing cycle. Refunds on your first payment are only available if you contact us within 7 days of purchase and have used the app fewer than 10 times, and a processing fee may be deducted. Renewal charges are non-refundable. This excludes any rights you have under applicable law. Full details, including processing fees, can be found in our Refunds Policy.

3.4 Price Changes
We may change pricing or billing methods. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription.

4. User Content and Conduct

4.1 Your Content
You may submit text, images, video, and other content to the Service, including content you upload for other users to view. You retain ownership of your content, but grant STFU a worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and confirm that you have all rights necessary to submit it and to grant this license.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove any content, and suspend or terminate any account, that we reasonably believe breaches that policy or these Terms.

4.3 No Tolerance for Objectionable Content or Abusive Users
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on the Service. Content that is offensive, abusive, illegal, or otherwise in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy is not permitted, and users who behave abusively towards others are not welcome on the Service.

4.4 Reporting and Moderation
You can report objectionable content, or abusive users, to us at any time using the reporting tools within the app or via our contact form, and you can block abusive users using the tools within the app. We will review every report and remove any content we find to be objectionable within 24 hours of receiving the report. Where a user is found to have posted objectionable content or to have behaved abusively, we will also eject that user by suspending or terminating their account.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership
Breezer Ltd retains ownership of all proprietary aspects of the Service, including software, branding, and content (excluding your User Content).

5.2 Feedback
If you provide feedback, you grant STFU the unrestricted right to use it for any purpose.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

6.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is." We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6.2 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, STFU is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months or £100 GBP, whichever is greater.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

7.2 Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first via our contact form so we can try to resolve it. You agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally and in good faith for at least 30 days before commencing formal proceedings.

7.3 Jurisdiction
The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service. If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account and delete all personally identifying information at any time through the Settings page within the app, or by contacting us.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Contact Information

If you have any questions about the Service, these Terms of Service, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy or the Refunds Policy, please contact us via our contact form.
